Stats / Weaknesses:

• Lace's sword stances are her primary tells.
• Her attacks have limited range, often covering half the arena.
• She is vulnerable after missing attacks or after her Sphere of Blades attack.
• Can be knocked off ledges with Silkspear for extra damage.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Stance-Based Attacks
   • Double Swing: Sword held diagonally down. Two advancing swings. Dodge by jumping and swift stepping.
   • Thrust: Sword held horizontal at eye level. Charging thrust covering half the arena. Dodge by standing outside range or jumping over. Punish her when she stops.
   • Leap and Dive: Sword held behind her, diagonal and up. Leaping slash followed by a down diagonal thrust in an inverted V pattern. Dodge by not swift stepping over other attacks.
   • Parry and Flurry: Sword held defensively over her head. If attacked, she counters with a flurry of stabs. Avoid attacking when she's in this stance, which she uses after whiffing attacks or when you jump at her.
2. Phase 2: Wounded State
   • Adds the Sphere of Blades attack. A whitish sphere marks an area, followed by a flurry of slashes. Dodge by staying outside the marked area. Lace lands in the center after the attack, providing an opportunity for a Silkspear attack.

Strategy:

• Observe Lace's sword stances to predict her next move.
• Maintain distance to avoid most attacks; learn her range to punish missed charges.
• Swift step over most attacks, but be cautious as it can bait her Parry and Flurry.
• Be patient; don't feel pressured to attack after every miss. Position yourself for the next safe opening.
• Avoid attacking when she enters her Parry stance. Wait for her to whiff an attack or finish her combo.
• When she is wounded and uses Sphere of Blades, stay clear of the marked area and then attack her as she lands. This is a good time to use Silkspear if you have enough silk.
• If possible, bait her towards a ledge and use Silkspear to knock her into the lava for extra damage.
• Repeatedly striking her can stun her, allowing for a few extra hits.
