An Act of Mercy

Fast travel to the campfire north of Free Heap near the twin bridges. Head north along the path to find Hakurt wounded by the west bridge. He will give you the side quest Death from the Skies.

Fast travel to the campfire east of Pitchcliff. Fight the attacking Glinthawks alongside the villagers.

Enter Pitchcliff and speak with Ralert atop the building to the right.

Hop down and use Focus (a tool to highlight interactive objects and enemies) to find a signal at the back of the camp. Investigate to find Shahavad and destroy the lure device.

Shahavad mentions the device came from an old workshop on the Eastern Ridge. Leave Pitchcliff and follow the path north across a bridge, then take the right path across a second bridge.

Continue north to a campsite with Glinthawks. Kill them or sneak past to the campfire, then follow the path to a cliff face with climb holds.

Climb up to a snow-covered area. Follow the path and deal with Watchers and a Bellowback.

Further along, you will find an area with three lure machines and a Stormbird. Focus on its lightning gun (on its chest) and engines (on its wings) with Tearblast arrows to disable its worst attacks. Shooting the Blaze canisters by its tail will cause an explosion. Use the cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) of bushes to avoid detection or fight it directly. Kill the Stormbird and loot it for a trophy.

Turn off the three lure devices and use Focus to investigate the workshop. Inspect the notes on the table to get [TD-Q50] Tattered Letter.

Return to Pitchcliff and speak with Ralert to report that Dervahl was behind the attack.

Before returning to Pitchcliff, fast travel to the campfire by the path leading to Dervahl's camp. Cross the river and follow the path north to a Stormbird site. Head to the end of the path to a small Oseram building. Turn southeast from the building to find Metal Flower - Mark II (G) on a ledge.

Return to Pitchcliff and speak with Ralert to complete the Death from the Skies quest.

To start the Deadliest Game errand, kill a Thunderjaw. Sites include north of Free Heap, in the valley where Kendert was found, or north of Lone Light. Loot the Thunderjaw for a trophy.

Fast travel to Meridian and go to the Hunter's Lodge. Speak with Ligan, who will hold your trophies and inform you that Ahsis and Talanah went to hunt Redmaw. This completes the Deadliest Game errand and starts the Redmaw side quest.

Head to Meridian Village, exit through the southwest gate, and cross the bridge. Approach the sign for Sunstone Rock to find [TD-W28] Greece is Calling.

Follow the path south around to the southern side of the mesa. Kill one of the three Stalkers here and get its trophy.

On the south side of the mesa, climb the climb holds. Head towards the center at the top to find Metal Flower - Mark III (E).

Follow the path south, passing the Bandit Camp Blackwing Snag. Continue south across the river, then follow the path southeast across the river again.

Follow the path straight up the wall of a tall mesa where you'll find climb holds. Kill the Glinthawks at the top and head to the north side of the mesa to find Metal Flower - Mark III (F). Loot the campfire to the east. At this point, you will pick up the signal for the Tallneck.

Rappel down and find the path. Follow it south to find Talanah being attacked by Outlanders. Kill the Outlanders and loot their corpses.

Speak with Talanah and follow her east until she stops. Use Focus to pick up the Redmaw's tracks and follow them.

Find Ahsis fighting the Redmaw. Kill the Thunderjaw (Redmaw) to complete this part of the quest.

Talk to Talanah, then find Ahsis. Talanah will tell you to meet her back at the Hunter's Lodge.

The Tallneck detected earlier is directly north of this area, patrolling around a short mesa patrolled by Longlegs and Watchers. You can jump to the Tallneck from most areas of the low mesa.
