Complete the Into the Borderlands quest in Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. Find Turing Act Criticized and Vantage - Lake Powell.
Walkthrough
- 1Return to the campfire where you first met Erend and head north across the river.
- 2Continue up the path north into the rocks to discover the Carja gate Unflinching Watch.
- 3Veer west and look to your right to see a lone tree up on a rock. You'll find [TD-W11] Turing Act Criticized in the grass below the tree.
- 4Head over to the campfire a stone's throw south of here.
- 5Use your Focus to examine the scraps of cloth on the other side of the campfire.
- 6Use Focus to highlight the tracks and follow them to a Shadow Carja outpost.
- 7Clear the archers and patrols outside and then head up to the main door and sneak through.
- 8The outpost leader is interrogating Nassan here. Take out the lone patrolling guards and then pick a fight with the interrogators.
- 9Free Nassan and follow him out of the outpost.
- 10Talk to him to finish this step. There's a Sawtooth and a Ravager roaming about down here so finish up any trophies you may need with them (you'll probably have to fast travel away and back to respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death) them one or two times).
- 11Now head south along the lake shore and you'll eventually come to a campfire (watch out for the patrolling Snapmaws).
- 12Just past the campfire are climb holds to climb up the canyon wall.
- 13Climb up to a tightrope and walk across then climb up further to find Vantage - Lake Powell.
- 14You should have all the trophies for the Hunting for the Lodge errand, so fast travel back to Meridian.
- 15First, head to Ravan's house and speak with him to complete Robbing the Rich.
- 16Go to the Hunters Lodge and speak with Ahsis to turn in your trophies. This will complete the Hunting for the Lodge errand and start Side Quest: Hunters' Blind.
- 17Talk to Talanah at the base of the stairs and she'll ask you to meet her outside. So head outside and talk to her again.
- 18She'll introduce you to Ilsadi for a tale of Glinthawk woe and ask you to meet her at Lone Light.
- 19Fast travel to Lone Light. Enter the settlement and Glinthawks will attack immediately.
- 20Fight off a couple waves and talk to Talanah and Ilsadi.
- 21Agree to look for upriver for what's causing the attacks and rappel down to the river.
- 22Follow the path along the river north until about halfway where you'll see Metal Flower - Mark II (C) just off the path to your left.
- 23Continue north until you reach an area with a ton of Snapmaw carcasses with Glinthawks flying about.
- 24Kill the Glinthawks then use your focus at the back of the area to find a trail leading up into the blinds.
- 25Follow the trail and climb up to a camp of hunters.
- 26Talk to Vashad who says he has a debt and needs Snapmaw Hearts to pay it off.
- 27You will have two choices here. If you choose to order them to leave, you will have to fight the four hunters. If you choose to compromise, you'll have to find a Snapmaw Heart for Vashad (or just give him one if you already have one).
- 28Speak with Talanah at the end and she'll agree to sponsor you, leaving you to meet her back at the lodge.
- 29Leave the hunter camp through the exit at the east and take the path back down the river's edge.
- 30Cross here and walk up the hill on the other side to get up on the mesa.
- 31You'll spot climb holds on the cliff wall in front of you so climb up to the peak of the butte here to find [TD-W34] Holo Listings.
- 32Head back down and cross the river then follow the path northeast where you'll soon see the Tallneck.
- 33Head right from the first entrance to a second entrance with a wooden ramp for you to get on the scaffolds.
- 34Kill the Cultists as you move along, careful not to raise the alarm with the Corrupter in the center.
- 35Cross the small walkway over the first entrance and kill the Cultists here.
- 36Continue around where you'll find a spot to climb up on a ramp against the cliff wall.
- 37Climb up and get to the top then zipline back across to the scaffold at the second entrance.
- 38You can jump across to the Tallneck from here and climb up. Override it at the top to clear up the map and then rappel down. The large blast from rappelling down will kill the remaining Cultists and leave the Corrupter with a fraction of health left.
- 39Head southeast along the path from the Tallneck and you'll reach a Broadhead site where the path splits.
- 40Look south and you'll spot a gnarled old tree. You'll find [TD-W31] Grey Swarms Diary on the back of an old tank under the tree.
- 41Override a Broadhead here if you want a ride and take the left split in the path then continue following the path southeast as it winds around to head northeast along a river.
- 42Cross the river at the bridge next to a Longleg site and head up into the small village Free Heap.
- 43Go up and talk to Petra at the highest platform to get Side Quest: Heap of Trouble.
- 44Head over to the ramp into the lair just east of the village and follow the ramp up to get a vantage on the lair.
- 45Continue along and kill the bandits as you make your way to the back of the lair where you'll find the three Power Cells. The first two Power Cells are on the ground and the last one is on top of the back platform. Use the handholds on the cliff wall just to the right of the platform to climb up.
- 46Once you have the Power Cells, return to the ground and an escaping bandit will tell you that the town is done for.
- 47Head back through the lair and over to the Scrapper Den, make sure to keep to the upper platforms for ease.
- 48Take out the Scrappers here and search the three scrap piles for the weapon parts you need.
- 49Return to Free Heap and talk to Petra again so she can build her weapon.
- 50The Bandits will attack and Petra will have you fight them with her Oseram Gun. Pick it up and use it to kill them.
