Setsuna comes from a humble village known as Nive Village, a place with a solemn tradition: the village of sacrifice. Once every ten years, a sacrifice is offered to quell the monsters plaguing the land, and it's now Setsuna's turn. She's blessed with incredible magical power, inherited from her mother, and possesses an unwavering sense of duty. What makes her unique is her ability to perceive 'connections' invisible to most, a trait that likely inspires her request for Endir to join her as a guard on her pilgrimage to the Last Lands.

The custom of offering a sacrifice to a fiend on the island to maintain peace has been in place for a decade. However, this tradition has recently been disrupted as the fiend has become unusually violent before the scheduled sacrifice. To appease it, a new sacrifice was chosen: Setsuna, selected specifically for her potent enchantment abilities. She must now embark on a journey with her protectors to the farthest reaches of the land for the ritual.
