Alright, so after you've dealt with the Corporate HQ, win or lose, you'll have some Corporate Reputation to play with. This is your chance to trade that hard-earned Rep for some sweet gear, those crucial Reactor Cores, or just a bit more Power for the grid. Don't get too attached to this Rep, though – it vanishes when you jump to the next island, so spend it all!

Think of it like this: you've got a limited time to cash in. You can also donate equipment you don't need or reassign your Pilots to get even more Corporate Rep. It's a great way to fine-tune your squad or just squeeze out every last bit of value.

• Donating Unwanted Equipment: Got a weapon that just doesn't fit your squad's style? Donate it for +1 Corporate Rep. Super useful for ditching gear that's just taking up space. Just be super careful not to donate anything your active Pilots are currently using! That would be a rookie mistake.
• Reassigning Pilots: You can send a regular Pilot back to the Island for +1 Corporate Rep, or if they've got a special ability, you can get +2 Corporate Rep for reassigning them. Think about which Pilots you might not need for the next island.

When you head to the trading post, you'll always find 4 pieces of equipment up for grabs (these can be weapons or passive buffs). On top of that, there's an unlimited supply of Reactor Cores and Power. Here's the breakdown on costs:

• Reactor Cores: These are your bread and butter for keeping your mechs powered up. They cost 3 Corporate Rep each.
• Equipment: Most gear will run you 2 Corporate Rep, but keep an eye out – sometimes, one item will be on sale for just 1 Corporate Rep!
• Power: Need a quick boost? Power costs 1 Corporate Rep per unit.

Especially early in the game, Reactor Cores are incredibly valuable. Try to aim for getting 9 Corporate Rep after your first island. That way, you can snag 3 Reactor Cores right off the bat, giving you a significant edge.
