After Samos sends Jak and Daxter out into the world, Sandover Village serves as the first hub area. It's located between Sentinel Beach and the Forbidden Jungle. While you only need 20 Power Cells to progress, this guide covers how to find every Power Cell in the village.

Note: Swimming too far out into the water will result in a swift, unpleasant end.

Note: The fisherman's boat can take you to Misty Island, but you need his permission first. He can be found in the Forbidden Jungle. An artist in a hut near Sentinel Beach needs his Muse (a squirrel-like creature) back, which has fled to Misty Island. Helping the fisherman is required to travel to Misty Island.

    Bring 90 Orbs to the Mayor: From Samos's house, head into the village. The mayor's hut is the first on the left. He will ask for 90 Precursor Orbs. It's recommended to complete other village tasks and explore Sentinel Beach and the Forbidden Jungle to gather enough Orbs.

    Bring 90 Orbs to Your Uncle: Jak's uncle's hut is directly across from the mayor's. He also requires 90 Precursor Orbs.

    Herd the Yakows into Their Pen: Exit the village square and take the bridge to the right, leading to a sandy beach. Find the 'Sleepy Guy In Hat' near a pen. Whack the five yakows until they move into the pen to earn a Power Cell.

    Bring 120 Orbs to the Oracle: Ascend the ledges behind the 'Sleepy Guy's' hut. Jump across platforms to reach the Oracle statue. Give it 120 Precursor Orbs to receive a Power Cell.
