- 1Enter the Forbidden Jungle by climbing grassy steps and crossing a rope bridge past Sleepy Yakow Guy's farm.
- 2Cross the river using small islands, avoiding piranhas, and head left following Precursor Orbs to a second bridge.
- 3On the other side, defeat enemies in the Precursor ruins. Use Jak's crouch-jump to collect floating goodies. Be cautious of the Dark Eco chest that explodes when touched.
- 4Follow a third rope bridge away from the ruins. Drop into the valley below, defeat the Lurker, and follow the land strip to Blue Eco clusters.
- 5Collect the Blue Eco, leap across the river, and stand on the blue launcher pad. Press X while charged to launch high into the air.
- 6Deal with the Lurkers guarding the large machinery. Circle around to the front and use the pistons to climb to the top.
- 7Hop across spinning discs to find a giant mirror diverting the Eco beam. Hit the wooden structure to destroy it.
- 8Drop to the ground and inspect the base of the newly emerged tower. Press Circle to take control and align the tower using the arrow sight.
- 9To find the next tower, circle around the machinery and head left towards the waterfall. Jump over the river; the tower is to the left. Adjust it.
- 10For the third tower, return to the Forbidden Jungle entrance, cross the river, and run right (away from the rope bridge). Use tree stumps to cross the river again; the tower is on the other side. Adjust it.

- 12On this ledge, defeat the spiked pendulum, froggy, and vine enemies guarding the fourth tower. Adjust the tower.
- 13The fifth and final Eco tower is outside the jungle, on the beach adjacent to the jungle's rope bridge. Adjust it.
- 14Return to the mayor's hut to collect your reward.
- 15To get to the top of the temple: Cross the rope bridge away from the Precursor ruins, dash past swinging pendulums, and drop down grassy steps.
- 16Defeat the Lurkers and step into a Blue Eco vent to charge up.
- 17Stand next to the two lightning stones near the cliff edge to create a bridge. Jump across the gaps.
- 18Approach the temple door (while still charged) to open it. Ignore the Scout Fly trampoline for now.
- 19Power up the elevator platform (use the Blue Eco cluster from the wooden box if needed) and ride it up. Switch to another platform during the ride.
- 20On the next ledge, charge up at the Blue Eco vent and use the launch pad to reach the subsequent ledge.
- 21Immediately defeat the attacking Lurker. Bounce on the trampoline to find another elevator. Energize it and hop on.
- 22As you ride up, step onto the next elevator as soon as it's within reach.
- 23At the very top of the Precursor Temple, a Power Cell awaits.
Tips
- Use Jak's crouch-jump ability to reach higher platforms.
- Be aware that the yellow and gray chest near the Precursor ruins contains Dark Eco and will damage Jak if touched.
- When adjusting the Eco towers, you can press Triangle to enter a first-person view to follow the Eco beam, or follow the directions provided.
