BOXES AND CHESTS

Learn about wooden boxes, metal chests, and red Scout Fly boxes in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, and what valuable items they contain.

There are three types of containers in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy: normal wooden boxes, strong metal chests, and red Scout Fly boxes.

Wooden boxes can be smashed with any of Jak's attacks and contain clusters of Green Eco.

Metal chests are impervious to Jak's attacks and must be broken open with Yellow Eco, a cannon, or by the Flut-Flut bird. Hidden inside are valuable Precursor Orbs.

Red Scout Fly boxes contain Scout Flies. Scout Flies are worthless by themselves, but collecting all seven in one level earns you a Power Cell.
