Walkthrough

Sawyer is located in the first course, second section.

He is the last regular Guard you will encounter in the game.

He can be annoying due to his speed.

To avoid his attacks, keep to the left side of the screen.

If you are unarmed, jump into the air and inhale a Bronto Burt.

After inhaling a Bronto Burt, Sawyer will pop up from the ground, alternating between the left and right sides.

Time your spits (inhaled attacks) carefully to defeat him.

If you are armed, Sawyer is pathetically easy.

It takes six hits to defeat him when armed.

Tips

Keeping to the left side of the screen can help you avoid Sawyer's attacks.
Inhaling a Bronto Burt provides a ranged attack that is effective against Sawyer.
Armed Kirby can defeat Sawyer much more quickly.
