Magman is the boss of Neo Star. He emerges from the magma, and the fight begins!

Phase 1: Platform Peril

In the first part of the battle, you'll be confined to four small platforms. Magman stays in the background, just out of reach. Keep an eye out for Magoo enemies that pop out of the magma; you'll want to inhale them to use as ammo. Magman's main attacks here involve creating pillars of magma that rise up to hit you or surround your platforms. You can only damage Magman by attacking these magma pillars. So, focus on destroying them!

Phase 2: Close Combat

Once you've dealt enough damage, Magman will charge at you and retreat to a large, solid magma platform. Now it's time for some direct confrontation! You can damage Magman up close by hitting him in the face. Be ready, though! After each attack, Magman will turn into a pool of magma and charge at you, summoning three Burnis right after. He'll also unleash a large beam of fire and cause rocks to fall from the ceiling. You can inhale these falling rocks to use as ammo, and they often appear in clusters, letting you fire off a cube-shaped projectile. Use these to your advantage!
