The first Crystal Shard is in the first section and is impossible to miss.

In the third section, you'll find a Crystal Shard under a black block in a lake. Collect the Bomb power nearby and destroy the black block. There are two Poppy Bros Jr enemies here; one before the lake and one after, both of whom have the Bomb power.

In the fourth section, defeat Waddle Dee. Inhale the stars that appear when he crashes into a wall and shoot them at him to defeat him and reveal a Crystal Shard. The guards for this section are N-Z and Waddle Dee.

Make sure to grab the Bomb power to break the black block in the lake.
Inhale the stars that Waddle Dee creates after crashing into walls to use as projectiles.
