Key Items & Puzzle Solvers

Identify Kuon's key items: various keys, the Small Wooden Doll, Ritual Stones, Seal of the Serpent, and Elemental Talismans.

These items are essential for progressing through the story, unlocking new areas, or solving the manor's many puzzles. They are often unique and cannot be used for anything other than their intended purpose.

• Rusty Key / Crested Key / Basement Key: Various keys used to unlock specific doors throughout the manor. Their names often hint at their location or purpose.
• Small Wooden Doll: (Utsuki's phase) A personal item of Kureha's, used in a specific puzzle related to her memories.
• Ritual Stones: (Sakuya's phase) Several stones that must be placed in correct pedestals to open a hidden passage.
• Seal of the Serpent: (Sakuya's phase) A powerful artifact needed to contain a specific manifestation of the curse.
• Five Elemental Talismans: (Seimei's phase) Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water talismans required for the Grand Exorcism.
• Documents (Diaries, Scrolls, Letters): While not always 'key items' in the traditional sense, many documents contain vital clues, codes, or lore necessary to understand puzzles or progress the narrative. Always read them carefully.

Key items are automatically used when you interact with the correct object or location. If you're stuck, check your inventory for any new key items and re-read their descriptions for clues. Sometimes, a key item from an earlier phase might be needed in a later one, so don't discard anything.
