The quest "The Missing Heirloom" in Legends of Amberland III: The Crimson Tower begins in the bustling town of Oakhaven. You'll speak with Elara, a distraught merchant, who explains that her family's ancestral locket, the Sunstone Pendant, has been stolen. She suspects a group of Goblins who were seen lurking near the Whispering Woods. To begin, head east from Oakhaven towards the Whispering Woods. Upon entering the woods, you'll encounter several Goblin Scouts. Defeating them will yield a Torn Map Fragment. This fragment provides a clue to the Goblins' hideout. Follow the path indicated on the map fragment, which leads deeper into the woods. You will eventually come across a small clearing with a makeshift Goblin encampment. Be prepared for a fight, as there are approximately 5 Goblin Thugs and a Goblin Shaman guarding the area. The Shaman can cast minor offensive spells, so prioritizing his elimination is advisable. After clearing the encampment, search the central tent. Inside, you will find the Sunstone Pendant along with a small chest containing 50 gold coins and a Health Potion. Return the pendant to Elara in Oakhaven to complete the quest. She will reward you with 150 experience points and a Ring of Minor Protection. A common mistake is to overlook the Torn Map Fragment, which can lead to aimless wandering in the Whispering Woods. Ensure you loot all defeated enemies to find this crucial item. If you struggle with the Goblin Shaman, consider using crowd control abilities or focusing fire on him immediately.
