But don't worry, we can speed that up! The key is unlocking passive resource collectors. After you clear out the first area, you'll start getting trash every morning from the resource collection points. Once you hit Resort Rank-One, you can start building Stone and Woodworking areas. You get to place five of these, and they'll also give you stone and woodworking materials each morning. Just a heads-up, these areas aren't cheap – the basic stone and woodworking ones will set you back about 70,000 Dokobucks each. Sadly, there's no way to fast-forward time on the island, so while those collectors are doing their thing, make sure you're still out there grabbing other resources to make the most of your time. Oh, and always keep a tour running – it's a great way to rack up Dokobucks to fund all this development!

You can also buy Waste Dumps and Garbage Pickup areas from the shop, and they work just like the stone and woodworking spots. As you level up your resort rank, you'll unlock even better resource gatherers, plus Gardening Kits and eventually a Chicken Coop. Those Crop Patches will give you food every morning right in front of the shop, which you can use to make souvenirs for your tourists. It's definitely an investment to buy these areas, but they're crucial for getting the materials you need to build furniture and rank up faster. One more pro-tip: you can use your Sujimon on the Dondoko Farm for an extra boost of trash and crops. Just remember, using Sujimon is also time-gated, so think of it as a nice bonus rather than your main source of materials.
