Discover the best skills in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, including Aperitifs (Heiress 22, 45 MP) and Beachside Bro-ffet (Aquanaut 18, 30 MP).

Aperitifs

Aperitifs is one of the best healing skills in the game, and certainly the best one you’ll have access to before unlocking the Idol job in Chapter 8. It restores a great deal of HP in a massive area and removes all debuffs. On the downside, it can only be learned by Chitose’s Heiress job, and it costs a hefty 45 MP, but you’re definitely getting what you pay for with this.

  • Job Rank: Heiress 22
  • MP Cost: 45
  • Effect: Ally Area

Beachside Bro-ffet

Healing is good. The more characters who have access to a healing spell, the better, and this is arguably the best healing spell every male character can learn. It heals for a hefty amount and has a wide AoE, and it’s only moderately spendy at 30 MP. All in all, it’s a great reason for every male character to reach Job Rank 18 as an Aquanaut. As a bonus, you can pickup the lesser skill Beachside Bro-BQ at Aquanaut 1, which isn’t quite as potent, but it’s still a good starter heal until you reach Aquanaut 18.

  • Job Rank: Aquanaut 18
  • MP Cost: 30
  • Effect: Ally Area

Bewitching Haze

A skill that can be easy to overlook, this is an AoE attack that, while dealing light damage, is fairly cheap (15 MP) and can inflict Blindness on enemies. It’s also a magic attack, meaning it can’t be avoided. It can be very useful to debuff physical attackers, or to just run into a mob, dish out some guaranteed damage, and see if any debuffs stick.

  • Job Rank: Pyrodancer 1
  • MP Cost: 15
  • Effect: Enemy Area, potentially blinding foes

Burning Arrow

Burning Arrow is just stupid in so many ways. You unlock it at Samurai 1, so any male character can just dip into Samurai to unlock it. This skill has a moderate range, and deals heavy gun/fire damage to all foes in said area, and it does all this for a mere 20 MP. If you want a general-purpose AoE skill that’ll get you through most of the game, capable of clearing mobs and dealing hefty damage to individuals, look no further. It should be a priority for all male characters, and honestly it can carry you through most of the game. If it has any downsides, it’s being a physical attack (meaning it can be dodged).

  • Job Rank: Samurai 1
  • MP Cost: 20
  • Power: Heavy
  • Effect: Enemy Area

Flicker of Light

A lesser version of the male’s Wild Lasso, the Kunoichi has a passable grapple move which deals medium damage at an affordable 15 MP. It doesn’t inflict any debuffs, but getting the short end of the stick is just something female characters in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth apparently have to deal with.

  • Job Rank: Kunoichi 1
  • MP Cost: 15
  • Effect: Grapple - 1 Enemy

Glory Awaits

An AoE buff that gives each character in a moderate range a stack of Attack and Critical Chance. The area could be wider, and there are going to be plenty of circumstances where you just can’t reach everybody you’d want to, but most of the time you’ll be able to maneuver around enough to buff three characters per cast. Spend a turn buffing and you’ll substantially increase your damage output. It pairs pretty well with Burning Arrow, but really benefits from having three (or more) male characters who can cast it in succession.

  • Job Rank: Samurai 12
  • MP Cost: 20
  • Effect: Ally Area

Hero’s Healing

Exclusive to Ichiban’s Hero job, you’re almost certainly going to unlock this one at some point. It can’t be stressed how solid of a healing spell this is, however, as it scales with Ichiban’s Kindness stat. At max ranks Ichiban will be healing loads, and at 20 MP it’s on a discount compared to Beachside Bro-ffet. It does have worse AoE, however. For Ichiban, you might just prefer Hero’s Healing over Beachside Bro-ffet.

  • Job Rank: Hero 6
  • MP Cost: 20
  • Effect: Ally Area

Scattering of Flowers

Possibly the closest thing to Burning Arrow female characters can get access to, Scattering of Flowers is an AoE magic attack skill that deals less damage, costs more MP, and takes longer to unlock. On the other hand, it has a wider AoE and being a magic skill, it cannot be evaded. It might not be quite as good as Burning Arrow, but it fills the same role - a general purpose mob-clearer. You might want to look elsewhere for single-target damage.

  • Job Rank: Kunoichi 18
  • MP Cost: 30
  • Effect: Enemy Area

Substitution Jutsu

A skill that can be learned by Kunoichi at Job Rank 12. It costs 25 MP and targets one ally.

  • Job Rank: Kunoichi 12
  • MP Cost: 25
  • Effect: 1 Ally
