How to Make Money Fast

Farm high-level enemies: As enemy level increases, so does the money dropped. Enemies around Lv30~ should drop around $1,000 per fight, while Lv50~ enemies can drop around $10,000. While the correlation flattens later, farming enemies you can quickly defeat (e.g., using "smackdown") can be more efficient than fighting tougher foes for slightly better drops.

Farm the Hawaiian Haunt: This dungeon becomes accessible at the end of Chapter 5. Once you reach Sector 2 (Lv32+ enemies), you can earn $1,000+ per fight. This area is also good for gaining EXP, JEXP, and weapon components. You will need to increase your Job Rank and upgrade weapons to tackle Sector 2 effectively after starting in Sector 1 (Lv18~).

Farm special enemies: Enemies marked with a crown icon over their heads drop significantly more money and EXP than normal foes. In the Hawaiian Haunt, special enemies are common and can yield upwards of $50,000 per fight, potentially over $100,000 in a few minutes if you encounter several on one floor. These battles may take longer and cannot be "smackdown" resolved.

Farm Plutocrat Rats (Kamurocho, Chapter 8): If you are willing to wait until Chapter 8, travel to Kamurocho and find Plutocrat Rat enemies wandering around W Shichifuku St. These enemies wear golden suits and drop around 1,000,000 yen ($10,000) each.

Equip money-boosting gear: Certain items increase the amount of money you earn. These include the Lucky Money Charm, Nouveau Riche Crown, and Pirate’s Coat. Using these can turn a $50,000 drop into $70,000.
