Many interesting rooms dot the third floor of this hotel. As with other floors, the map system indicates contiguous spaces with the same number. The following table lists the numbered areas on the 3rd Floor:

2014 Hallway, 3rd Floor

This area is dominated by the 2014 door in the center. A computer and a coat rack are present. Exits include West to the West Hallway, East to the East Hallway, and south of the east exit to the Crafts Room, 3rd Floor (East).

Where is the key to Room 2014?

Hint One: Have you gone back downstairs, lately?

Hint Two: Return to the Reception Desk area and you'll find the Reception Office open.

Solution: From the Reception Office, go behind the Reception Desk and open the Locked Key Cabinet puzzle. Unlocking this door gives you access to Room 2014.

West Hallway, 3rd Floor

This hallway runs north to south from the 2014 Hallway, 3rd Floor. An Espresso Machine is here. Going south leads to the Crafts Room, 3rd Floor (West).

How do I unlock the door with a 3-digit code?

Hint One: If you've been diligent about finding information, you'll find a piece that gives you the answer in the most obvious way possible.

Hint Two: Have you been opening Document Tubes?

Solution: The code is written on the Hotel Map, 3rd Floor. The number is randomized, but the three digits are written directly on the map. Unlocking this door gives you access to Lounge, 3rd Floor.

How do I unlock the door to Room 1963?

Hint: Only the occupant can let you in, so do what he asks.

Solution: Get all nine Script Pages and slide them to him under the door. You will finally be given access to Room 1963 upon completion.

East Hallway, 3rd Floor

This hallway runs north to south from the 2014 Hallway, 3rd Floor. There are no open exits, only locked doors.

What's the code for the Document Tube?

As this is partly randomized, please check the Document Tubes section for this one. Solving this puzzle gives you the map of the 3rd Floor.

Where is the key to the 1847 Door?

Hint One: With the room's occupant, found elsewhere.

Solution: In the Back Yard, on the east side. Unlocking this door gives you access to Room 1847.

Elevator Hallway, 3rd Floor

This room is initially accessible via the Elevator. Both other exits are locked, the east one being a Shortcut Door back to the East Hallway.

What do I do with the Bell Painting?

Hint One: A painting with three bells. Do we know of any depictions of bells?

Hint Two: Hopefully you recall what brought you here.

Solution: Go back into the Elevator and tap the bell button three times. Solving this will open the way to the Front Hallway, 3rd Floor.

Elevator Hallway, 3rd Floor (west)

This oddly-shaped space is accessible only from the Elevator Hallway, 3rd Floor. A small passage continues west and stops. To the north is the 3 Door, and stairs lead up to the Loft.

What do I do with the Bust?

Hint One: Well if you're here checking up on this one without just messing with it yourself, let me tell you that you have nothing to fear.

Solution: Simply take the key from the bust. The trapdoor will not open while you stand on it, nor will it open again. It's just a red herring. Solving this will give you the Eye Key.

How do I unlock the 3 Door?

Hint One: You're going to need the "3-Shaped Key". This is an item you mostly stumble across.

Hint Two: The 3-Shaped Key is in the West Wing, 1st Floor. You get it by solving the puzzle there.

Solution: Unlocking this door gives you access to Hallway, 3rd Floor.

Lounge, 3rd Floor

This cramped room is accessed from the West Hallway, 3rd Floor and has no other exits.

How do I use the Printing Device?

Hint One: It's asking for a case-sensitive code, all in letters. You have to press "CAPS" to enable capital letters, and then press it again to go back to lower-case.

Hint Two: Your hint is nearby.

Hint Three: You're being asked to identify the busts. The letters and numbers aren't really some fancy code, so much as they are the names of the people they are busts of.

Hint Four: Are you aware of any names that might suggest who these busts represent? You don't need all of their names, necessarily, but it might give you an idea of what the numbers substitute.

Hint Five: One of the busts is of "Renzo". Once you figure out which one, make sure you get that info into the printer, in numerical order, all caps.

Solution: There's some randomness to this one. But you'll get "LO", "RE", and "ZO" each assigned to a number: 1, 2, 3. So, if 1 = LO, then type LO first, and so on. Solving this gets you...
