Learn how to drag items behind you in Mario Kart Wii to block attacks and time your drops. Drag bananas, shells, and Bob-ombs.

You can drag specific items behind your kart in Mario Kart Wii by holding down the item button. This technique allows you to block incoming attacks from behind, such as red shells, and to more precisely time when you release your items.

Items that can be dragged:

• Bananas
• Green Shells
• Red Shells
• Bob-ombs

Note: While Fake Item Boxes can be dragged, they do not provide protection against shells.
