This section details the various new weapons and iPod songs available to unlock in Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2.

New Weapons

• 1911 Custom — Naked Snake's main pistol from Snake Eater, with slightly higher stability, reload, and locking capabilities. Unlocked by entering an unknown password in the extras section.
• Desert Eagle (Long Barrel) — A powerful pistol with a scope, used by Meryl. Earned by obtaining the Fox emblem.
• Patriot — A devastating submachine gun with infinite ammo and no need to reload. Obtained by earning the toughest emblem, the Big Boss emblem.
• Race Gun — An upgraded version of the Single Action Army revolver, capable of ricocheting bullets. Earned by finishing the game once on any difficulty.
• Socom (Mk.23) — Snake's old handgun from Shadow Moses. Found under the truck at the helipad in Shadow Moses. Earning it grants 1000 Drebin Points.
• Solar Gun — When fully charged by sunlight, this weapon causes enemies to fall unconscious and drop items. It's also effective against Vamp. Pick up all four Beast dolls and the Haven Trooper doll.
• Tanegashima — A mediocre rifle with a slow reload, costing one million Drebin Points. When fired outside, it has a 30% chance to eliminate all enemies in the area with a tornado. Available at Drebin's shop after completing the game once.
• Thor .45-70 — A disguised shotgun that requires a single shot to eliminate an enemy and has a quick reload. Earned by obtaining the Fox Hound emblem.
• Type 17 — An incognito machine gun with a rapid rate of fire. Obtained by earning the Hound emblem.
