Unlocking New Game Plus

Once you've successfully navigated the treacherous streets of Noirville and brought your first case to a close in MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, the adventure doesn't have to end. Unlocking New Game Plus (NG+) offers a chance to replay the story with enhanced challenges and retained progression.

Completion is Key: The primary requirement for unlocking New Game Plus will almost certainly be the completion of the main story campaign. Once the final credits roll, the option to start a NG+ playthrough should become available from the main menu. This sifies that you have experienced the core narrative and are ready for a more demanding experience.

What Carries Over: Typically, New Game Plus allows you to retain certain aspects of your previous playthrough. This often includes your character's level, acquired skills, collected currency, and potentially even your inventory of weapons and gear. This means you can start your second journey with a significant advantage, allowing you to tackle tougher enemies and explore areas you might have missed.

Increased Difficulty & New Challenges: To provide a fresh experience, NG+ typically introduces a higher difficulty level. Enemies will likely have increased health, deal more damage, and may exhibit more aggressive AI. Furthermore, expect new enemy placements, modified encounter dess, and potentially even new enemy types or variations that were not present in your initial playthrough.
