Dive into Part 21 of the Once Human guide. Discover hidden loot, unlock secrets, and navigate the game's intricate areas with expert tips and walkthroughs.
Alright, let's get into Part 21. This section is all about thorough exploration and finding those little extras that make a big difference.
First up, in the apartment you're in, keep an eye out for 168 CREDITS sitting on a desk. Don't miss the drawer nearby, it's got a STOP WORM SOFTWARE. If you've got a Level 2 PC, you can use it to dig up some background on MCB members, netting you GREY HAT (50XP). The bathroom is also worth a peek – the lockers there hide TRANQUILIZER DART x4 and a CONCUSSION GRENADE. Once you've looted everything, head back outside using the fire escape.
BASKETBALL COURT AND BEYOND
Back outside, you'll find a basketball court. You can try to sink a shot for a bit of fun, and if you have the Strength Enhancement augmentation, you can stack dumpsters to reach the basket and just drop the ball in for a trophy/achievement. If you don't have that augmentation, no worries! You can stack six barrels: three on the bottom, two in the middle, and one on top. Carefully climb them and drop the ball in. It's a bit of a puzzle, but totally doable.
Next, you'll want to access the Level 5 storage room. The code you need is 1904. Inside, clear out the stuff on the left to find a Level 4 security panel. The code for that is 6542. This will deactivate laser beams that would otherwise fill the room with gas if tripped. Inside this room, you can grab 13x COMBAT RIFLE AMMO, 2x TRANQUILIZER DARTS, 6x SNIPER RIFLE AMMO, and 3x COMBAT RIFLE. Grab one Combat Rifle and head to Grayson's Shop at the gas station to sell it for 630 Credits. You can go back for the other two to sell, potentially making a total of 1890 Credits.
Back at the basketball court, you'll see some characters named Bee-K and P-Gee. We'll deal with them later. For now, look for a hole in the fence behind three stacked green barrels. Crawl through it to get TRAVELLER (100XP). This tunnel leads to the northwest part of town, including Chiron Building. It can also be a shortcut to the police station area if you have the 'Move/Throw Heavy Objects' augmentation to move the large containers blocking the way, but we'll get there soon enough without it.
Head upstairs and check the storage room on your left. It's locked with a Level 2 device, but you can get GREY HAT (50XP) and TRAVELLER (100XP). Inside, you'll find a STUN GUN and STUN GUN DARTS x2. If you miss that, or want to find the code, walk past the containers on your right and look for a POCKET SECRETARY on an iron beam. It holds the code to the storage room: 2928.
CHIRON BUILDING/JENSEN'S APARTMENT
Chiron Building is up next. Go past it and follow the road to a dead end. Enter the red container there to find PAINKILLERS, then head into Chiron Building.
The receptionist's computer has some background info, but the real action is upstairs via the elevator. After a little chat with the janitor, head into Jensen's apartment. It’s pretty spacious. The living room has an ebook, 'Advanced Clock Building', but the main finds are in the bedroom.
In the bedroom, you'll find a HUGH DARROW EBOOK (The Intelligence Circuit) and a PC. This PC has an access code: 5375. Use this code on the terminal next to the kitchen (or hack it) to get SCRIPT KIDDIE (25XP). This unlocks a secret stash with TRAVELLER (100XP), containing an ARMOR-PIERCING SYSTEM, a 10MM PISTOL, 150 + 250 CREDITS, and 10MM AMMO x10. The armor-piercing system is great for tougher enemies.
Tip: If you leave Jensen's apartment and go around the corner, you can overhear a conversation between an augmented couple by standing near the closed door at the end. It's a good reminder that augmentations aren't without their drawbacks.
With Jensen's apartment explored, head back to the main streets. Check the alley across the street, near the two dumpster containers. The fire escape there leads to an apartment and eventually D-row, but we're not heading there just yet.
S2 - LESSER EVILS
Time to wrap up the 'S2 - LESSER EVILS' quest. Head down the main street and ignore the main entrance to D-row on your left. On the other side of the street, near the D-row crossroads, you'll find a hooker named Jenny Alexander. Talk to her to get information that starts the 'S5 - CLOAK & DAGGERS' quest. We'll put a pin in that for now.
Continue down the main street towards the police station. You've explored most of the town, but the connection between the police station area and Sarif Industries is still new territory. Go past the police station and turn right. At the entrance to an alley, you'll see a manhole leading to the sewers. At the end of the alley is that shortcut between the three major parts of town, but only if you can move the container. We'll skip the alley for now and head through the subway station, which connects back to the Sarif Industries area. With the main town areas covered, let's finish up S2.
