Alright, so you've met Grunt! He's a pretty solid addition to your crew, even though he'll make Midia leave for a bit. Don't worry too much about Midia being gone; the area Grunt guides you through doesn't have any major bosses, so you'll be fine without her for a while.

Grunt himself is a real powerhouse. He's got two weapons you'll be swapping between: the Blkjack, which is generally stronger, and the Com kn, which is awesome for hitting multiple enemies at once. You'll want to switch between these depending on whether you're facing a single tough opponent or a whole group.

His high speed also makes him a surprisingly effective healer, and he just plain hits hard. He could totally hold his own in a boss fight, so don't hesitate to rely on him when things get tough.
