Defeat the Dancing Hands on Thebel 10F in Persona 3 FES with this guide. Learn their weaknesses and best strategies.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
On your first turn, check the combatant order using R1. Aim for the order where MC is first, followed by Yukari, Junpei, and then the Hands.
  2. 2
If the turn order is favorable, assign Hand 1 as the target for MC and your allies. MC should use Bash on all Hands but cancel All-Out Attack (AoA) and then Stand By.
  3. 3
Hand 1 and Hand 2 will stand up, and Junpei and Yukari will attack Hand 1, leaving it nearly defeated.
  4. 4
Focus on defeating Hand 1, then switch focus to Hand 2 using the same strategy. Avoid using AoA as it deals minimal damage (around 50 HP).
  5. 5
If the turn order is unfavorable (MC first, then Yukari, Junpei, Hands), set both MC and the Hands to 'Stand By' to avoid them disrupting the battle.
  6. 6
Use Bash on every Hand, canceling AoA, but do not attack downed Hands.
  7. 7
In between turns, after three Bashes, cast Cadenza to restore your team's HP and increase their dodge rate.
  8. 8
If your team members are hit and retaliate, press triangle for Yukari and Junpei to attack physically.
  9. 9
Be aware that two hits from any Hand can kill MC due to low level, so be prepared to reload if necessary.
Tips
  • The Dancing Hands can cast single and multi-target elemental spells. They will use multi-target spells when at 25% HP.
  • Remaining Hands may heal injured ones for about 70 HP.
  • Tentarafoo can inflict Panic status, preventing spellcasting, which can make the battle harder if you have few recovery items.
  • The 'Knock Down and Leave' strategy refers to defeating enemies one by one.
  • If your team members get TIRED, send them home to prevent them from becoming SICK.
  • Continue fighting alone on the 2nd floor or up to the 14th floor to activate another terminal, fighting until MC reaches Lv 6 or 7.
  • Fuse Ara Mitama and Omoikane.
  • You do not need to fight the next boss immediately.

After the boss fight, return to the lobby, save, and use the terminal on the tenth floor. Fight battles to gain Personas, items, and cash. Wander around the 4th and 11th floors for gold chests (which resemble safes) that may contain the rare katana, Juzumaru. This katana is stronger than the Imitation Katana and Kishido Blade and provides an extra 20 HP. On the 12th floor, you might find a gold safe with a Magic Mirror, which repels all spells except Almighty and status ailments. The 12th floor can also yield a Traesto Gem (to escape Tartarus) or an Attack Mirror (repels physical attacks). On the 7th and 13th floors, you may find the Shirt of Chivalry armor, which changes the appearance of male characters.
