GRUMBLING GROTTOS

Guide to finding all 14 Hidden Cages in Rayman Legends' Grumbling Grotto levels: Savage Swarms, Tricky Winds, Don't Shoot the DJ, High Voltage, Snake Eyes, and To Bubblize a Mocking Bird.

This guide details the locations of all 14 Hidden Cages across the Grumbling Grotto levels in Rayman Legends.

Savage Swarms (3 Hidden Cages)

1. Hidden Cage 1: After collecting the first two Skull Coins, ground pound the slanted drum to reach a high wall. Wall jump up to a hidden doorway. Follow the moving hieroglyph lights to the end of the tunnel and defeat the three Red Birds.
2. Hidden Cage 2: After escaping the temple with the fifth Skull Coin, bounce on a drum and grab Swingman. Swing left and wall jump to a ledge with a doorway. This is a Moskito Cage Challenge. Ride through the temple, shooting all bronze lights to reach the cage. Shoot the three red birds, then ricochet shots off a drum to open the cage chamber.
3. Hidden Cage 3: Located at the end of the level. Collect the Heart flask for insurance. Use the two ground drums to reach the four Red Birds, then climb up to the Hidden Cage.

Tricky Winds (3 Hidden Cages)

1. Hidden Cage 1: In the first half of the level, amidst a stack of dijiridoo cannons. As you ride upwards, use Swingman to leap to the left wall and wall jump to a door. Destroy the first Red Bird and enter the cannon to reach the cage.
2. Hidden Cage 2: In the wind tunnel with the fifth Skull Coin. Pass the two Darktoon Branches, enter the hole in the ceiling, and float to a hidden door. Navigate between the shifting ceiling and floor to reach the cage.
3. Hidden Cage 3: At the end of the level, above the cage are four Red Birds flying in a circle. Use the wind tunnel to fly up and defeat them, then access the cage.

Don't Shoot the DJ (1 Hidden Cage)

1. Hidden Cage 1: After escaping the Purple and Red Centipedes and exiting the second Locust temple, run through a door to find the cage.

High Voltage (3 Hidden Cages)

1. Hidden Cage 1: Near the area with multiple brown islands flanked by two strings. Instead of climbing, stay on the ground and continue right to enter a door. Use dijiridoo cannons to climb the sinking structure and defeat the Bagpipe Birds before being submerged.
2. Hidden Cage 2: After the area with staves, toucans, and Helmet Birds. Jump across moving drums to the far right drum. Float along the rightmost wall to a ledge below the screen. Inside the Cage Challenge, bounce across drums, stomp the Red Bird on each, and super bounce on the slanted drum to reach the cage.
3. Hidden Cage 3: At the end of the level, in a large room. Cross a pit with stabilized ball lightning, wall jump to the second level, and repeat. Climb to the third floor to defeat Red Birds and open the cage.

Snake Eyes (3 Hidden Cages)

1. Hidden Cage 1: At the end of the first Flute Snake course, above the normal exit. Jump onto the first Flute Snake, wallrun as it circles, defeat the Red Birds, and drop to the cage in the center.
2. Hidden Cage 2: At the end of the fourth Flute Snake course, below the exit. Jump and float down or stay on the Flute Snake. In the Cage Challenge, ride Moskito to the end and shoot the Red Centipede to unlock the cage.
3. Hidden Cage 3: For the final Cage Challenge at the level's end. Hop on the spinning Flute Snake to reach ledges above the cage. Destroy the Red Birds and fall onto the cage.

To Bubblize a Mocking Bird (1 Hidden Cage)

1. Hidden Cage 1: While there are no physical Hidden Cages, an Electoon is awarded for defeating the Mocking Bird and restoring him to his normal self.
