Guide to finding all 8 Hidden Cages in the Angsty Abyss levels of Rayman Origins: Why So Crabby?, Scuba Shootout, Beware of Mini-Murray, and Murray of the Deep.

Alright, so you've made it to the Angsty Abyss! This area's got some tricky hidden cages, but don't sweat it, I'll walk you through 'em. We've got a total of 8 cages to snag across four levels, so let's dive in!

Why So Crabby? (3 Hidden Cages)

This first level has three cages to find. Keep your eyes peeled!

  • Hidden Cage 1: In the area where you see the Lum King and a bunch of Electric Jellyfish, look up! There's a hole in the ceiling right above those jellyfish. Head through it, and you'll find a hidden doorway. Inside, you'll have to ride through a Moskito course while dodging falling rocks. The cage itself is guarded by just four Pufferfish. Take 'em out and grab the cage!
  • Hidden Cage 2: You'll find this cage in the area where you first run into the Man o' Wars. Just go past the second one you see, then head south. You'll end up near a narrow crack. Squeeze through that crack to enter a hidden room. To get this cage, you'll need to defeat a group of sneaky Sea Claws.
  • Hidden Cage 3: This last cage for this level is in the very final room. Swim through the water section and take out all the Red Fish. Up on land, you'll see two Robot Crabs. The perfect spot to attack their weak points is from below in the water. The cage is chilling right between those two crabs.

Scuba Shootout (1 Hidden Cage)

Just one cage to grab here, but it's tucked away!

  • Hidden Cage: After you've explored the abyss, dealt with the Darktoon Hands, and dodged some falling boulders, make your way back to the surface and land on the rocks. The Hidden Cage is waiting for you in the very next room.

Beware of Mini-Murray (3 Hidden Cages)

This level has a few more cages, so stay sharp!

  • Hidden Cage 1: Once you've gotten past the spot where the Swordfish ambush you, check out the holes they came from. One of them was hiding in a hole in the ceiling. Investigate that hole, and you'll find yourself in a hidden room. Inside, you'll need to swim around a maze, taking out enemies. Watch out for the Pink Eel that's chasing you! Once you clear the room, you can unlock the cage.
  • Hidden Cage 2: In the room right after the Swordfish hiding spot, you'll need to defeat all the Sea Claws. After that, search the sea floor for a tiny crack you can slip into. Go through it, and then continue through the doorway. Inside, you'll have to deal with Spiked Fish that are bouncing around like pinballs. Your goal is to chain-bubbilize the pyramid of Red Fish for an easy win and the cage.
  • Hidden Cage 3: For the final Hidden Cage in this level, you'll find a Pink Eel chasing you as you head towards the level exit. Try to grab the first batch of enemies quickly without backtracking, or you might bump into the Pink Eel. Swim to the right side of the pool to get rid of the last Pufferfish, then jump onto the island to reach the cage.

Murray of the Deep (1 Hidden Cage)

This last level is a bit different for cages.

  • Hidden Cage: Technically, there aren't any Hidden Cages to find and destroy in this level. However, you'll get an Electoon for successfully knocking Murray down a peg and rescuing the King. So, focus on that objective!
