This guide details how to progress through the chapters of Roblox Color or Die by understanding the value and use of various items. You'll learn how to collect paint buckets, find tools, and utilize them to unlock doors and progress through the game's challenges.

Chapter 1

Maps

Several maps are provided to help visualize the level layout, indicating the locations of blocked walls (colored lines) and paint buckets (colored circles). Brushes are marked with black circles.

The player must collect all paint buckets to unlock doors and find all brushes. Touching the color of the wall you are holding paint of can offer temporary protection. Dying without an extra life (purchasable with Robux or earned via the wheel) forces a restart from the first paint, but keeps collected paint brushes. An extra life resets the player to the last color obtained and the tool they had when they died.

Steps

1. Find the red door to get the screwdriver.
2. Find the vent door to get orange paint (requires an obby).
3. Find the orange door to get yellow paint.
4. Find the yellow door to get green paint (requires an obby).
5. Find the green door to get teal paint.
6. Return to the vent door, complete the obby to get the triangle.
7. Return to the green door to get blue paint.
8. Find the blue door to get the saw.
9. Return to the yellow door to get the wood plank and purple paint (requires an obby).
10. Find the purple door to get the hammer.
11. Return to the red door to get pink paint.
12. Find the pink door to get the key.
13. Return to the yellow door to get the last paintbrush (through the key door at the obby).
14. Find the paintbrush door to get white paint (this door is open and looks like the obbies).
15. Return to the safe zone, to the white door.
16. Choose one of the 4 doors to escape.

Chapter 2

Steps

1. Find the red door to get the screwdriver.
2. Find the vent door to get orange paint.
3. Find the orange door (near the light cable plugs) to get yellow paint.
4. Find the yellow door to get the dynamite.
5. Find the brick wall to get green paint (requires an obby).
6. Find the green door to get the pickaxe.
7. Return near the orange door, at the hole, to get teal paint (requires an obby).
8. Return inside the brick wall and complete the obby to get blue paint.
9. Find the blue door to get the torch.
10. Find the spider web door to get purple paint.
11. Return near the orange door, at the purple door, to get the key card.
12. Find the staff-only door and complete the obby to get the crowbar.
13. Return to the green door, at the crowbar hole, to get pink paint.
14. Return to the red door to get the key.
15. Find the key door to get the last paintbrush.
16. Find the paintbrush door to get white paint (this door is open and looks like the obbies).
17. Return to the safe zone, to the white door.

Chapter 3

Steps

1. Find the red door to get the orange paint.
2. Find the orange door to get the yellow paint.
3. Find the yellow door, complete the obby, and grab the hacksaw.
4. Find the bridge, saw through the bars, and get the green paint.
5. Find the green door to get the fire extinguisher.
6. Find the fire and extinguish it to get the teal paint.
7. Go back to the yellow door obby, and go to the teal door to get the grappling hook.
8. Find the bridge, use the grappling hook to get the blue paint.
9. Find the blue door (inside the red door) to get the purple paint.
10. Find the purple door, complete the obby, and get the laser gun.
11. Use the laser gun to shoot the target and get the pink paint.
12. Find the pink door and get the key.
13. Go back to the bridge, break the lock, and claim the last paintbrush.
14. Go to the paintbrush door to receive the white paint.
15. Go back to the lobby to use the white paint on the door.
