Part 12

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Part 12 walkthrough covering the Subspace Highway, the Shopping District, and shops like No-Account Video and Delicious Cup.

Walkthrough:

1. Before the fight, note that there is snow on the ground that enemies can use to annoy you.
2. Defeat the four RICHARD enemies. Try to take them out before the snow is gone, as they spend time going for weapons instead of aggravating you.
3. Two more enemies will appear after you defeat the first group.
4. If you skipped the Subspace Highway, you can return to the door and use it to be transported directly to the upcoming fight.
5. JESSE, LUKE, and LEE will rush in. Use the same trick as with the Dobermans earlier, involving the ice block on the ground. Jesse might roll through it, but you'll likely destroy Jesse's backup.
6. There is no transition between this fight and the next part of the stage. Everything before this point will be locked off if you choose to go straight to 1-2 in the future.
7. You are now in Stage 1-2a: Shopping District. Enemies include Mike, Lee, Luke, Richard, Malcolm, Doberman, and William.
8. You will not encounter new enemy types in this section, but this is your introduction to shops.
9. Defeat the single MIKE enemy.
10. Notice No-Account Video. Scott has a $504.25 late fee. Paying it off grants access to $4.95 one-ups and $4.95 stat boosters. However, it is not recommended to pay this fee as there are better ways to earn extra lives and bonus stats that cost less in the long run.
11. MIKE and LUKE are waiting in front of Delicious Cup. This store sells coffee and other items, introducing you to Snacks. The Iced Latte restores 56 HP and 16 GP when you are at 0 HP. There is a better store for snacks nearby. Only use this store if you desperately need health.
12. MALCOLM is in front of Dee's Tex Mex. Be careful as he is still dangerous. You might reach level 4 and unlock the Counter technique around now, but it is dangerous to use unless you have mastered timing your blocks.
13. Dee's Tex Mex restores HP and GP significantly. The $7.75 Nachos restore 80 HP and 80 GP. This store is good for topping off HP and GP after completing a stage.
14. The next store is a Mini-Mart. The Energy Drink costs $2.95 and restores 64 HP, 16 GP, and grants The Glow. You can carry these as Snacks and they are highly recommended.
15. Next to the Mini-Mart is LUKE and a Sushi Bar. This store is cheaper than Dee's Tex Mex but worse in quality. The Rainbow Maki boosts all stats by 1 but is not worth it compared to other upcoming items.
16. Watch out for LUKE in the trash can and MIKE standing in the street before reaching the next stores. These enemies should pose no threat by this point.
