Bridge to Helheim (Gjallarbrú) - ᛁᚾ

After defeating Valravn and Surt, approach the door to Helheim and press the interact button to trigger a cutscene.

You will find yourself on the Gjöll Bridge. Prepare for your first combat encounter, facing a total of 6 enemies: one Swordsman, followed by another Swordsman and a Mace enemy, then two more Swordsmen, and finally a Shield enemy.

Once all enemies are defeated, proceed to the end of the bridge and use the interact button to open the next door.

Immediately, you will face your second combat encounter against a large Axe Brute. You must mash face buttons to roll away from his initial ground attack.

While injured and moving slowly, you can either use focus to heal or evade his attacks until Senua recovers. Note that double evades are unavailable when health is low.

This Axe Brute is similar to Surt. Avoid blocking his attacks (especially charge, kick, and stomp) as it will knock you down without an opportunity to counter. Instead, evade and use combos, starting with light attacks. Do not finish combos with light finishers, as this leaves you vulnerable.

After defeating the Axe Brute, a Swordsman and a Mace enemy will spawn, followed by another Swordsman and Mace enemy, and finally a Shield enemy. This fight is the toughest so far.

After the fight, exit through the door with the burning brazier.

In the next room, you'll find a locked door on the left and an open door on the right. Activate the Rune Puzzle on the door in front of you.

Go through the open door on the right. You will find Lorestone 1/2 on your left.

Continue past the Lorestone down wooden stairs onto a wrecked ship hull. Turn right and head towards the front of the wreck. Look back at the building where you fought the Axe Brute. Align broken fragments in the air to form a wooden staircase. Focus to make it real.

Return to the room where you created the staircase. Near the door you entered from, look up towards the Rune Door. Position yourself to see a red hanging object form an 'X' to unlock the first Rune.

Go up the staircase you created. Turn right, follow the hall, and turn right again. Look for a spot between two pillars to see the red shape form an 'S' for the second Rune.

Continue along the path until it turns right. Climb the ladder straight ahead to go up. Turn around and align the red object with another behind it to form the final Rune.

Climb back down the ladder.
