This is the first real puzzle you'll encounter in Silent Hill 4: The Room, and it's all about lining up these creepy bloody bed cells. The Water Prison itself is this weird, cylindrical place with three floors, and each floor has eight cells. The trick is that you can rotate the 2nd and 3rd floors using valves in the central shaft. This changes where the cells line up with each other. Your goal is to get all three floors aligned so you can jump through the holes in the cells and get to the prison's cafeteria. Before you even start messing with the floors, make sure you've opened the water gate on the roof. This lets light in, which is super important for seeing what you're doing later. Now, to actually solve it, you need to align the cells that have bloodied beds. The memo you found earlier, the '2F Surveillance Room Report,' hints at this. Just look for the cells with blood on the bed – if it's just blood in the cell but no blood on the bed, ignore it. All the bloodied-bed cells have holes in them, and you need to stack these holes up. If you want it: * On the third floor, turn right once. * Go to the actual third floor, then jump down the red hole on the map (it's on the right side). * Grab the Stun Gun from the table and head back to the valve room. The Solution Here's the quickest way to get the cells aligned: * 2nd floor: Turn left or right 4 times. * 3rd floor: Turn right twice. * *Quick tip:* If you already grabbed the Stun Gun, you only need to turn the 3rd floor right once. Once the bloodied-bed cells are lined up correctly, you need to head to the 3rd floor. Look for the hole in the correct room, which is at ∠70 degrees on the map. Jump down. The area will be lit up, and you'll be able to see the code for the door: '0302'. Use that to get through and continue on your way!
