ROOM 302 (16)

Henry wakes up alone in Room 302. A cutscene triggers, and he hears something shatter. Investigate the living room to find the ceiling fan has broken. Henry also notices the air feels heavy, and his health will no longer recharge automatically.

Check the front door for the RED DIARY - JULY 20 and a SMALL KEY inside an envelope.

Turn around and find three memos along the wall by the living room bookshelf: RED DIARY - JUNE 11, RED DIARY - ??/??, and RED DIARY - JUNE 14.

Clear some inventory space, keeping the Small Key.

Return to the hospital through the laundry room hole.

Eileen is still in the hospital. A cutscene plays. She cannot return to Room 302. She mentions being cursed if left alone, so do not leave her alone for too long to prevent her from entering a bad state.

Leave the hospital room and head back to the elevator shaft.

Use the SMALL KEY on the gate in the elevator shaft to pass through.

If the elevator is still present, call it from 2F to clear the shaft.

You will enter a long, descending stairway. You will encounter patients here. Defeat the first patient, and finish it with a stomp as it burps down to the flat stair. Turn to face the next two patients.

Note the "Ever Downward" caption beside the door at the bottom of the stairs and pass through.

You will now be in a descending, circular staircase. Pace yourself to allow Eileen to catch up.
