Part 24

From the beginning, head right towards a large waterfall. Jump into the water below and proceed right.

Underwater, go up a curve and over spikes. Continue right until you pass an Invincibility Item Box. Ensure you grab a bubble to avoid drowning.

Shortly after the Invincibility Item Box, you will find Chao #5 near the right wall, guarded by a lamprey badnik.

Head left, back to the left wall where the Omochao and spring are. Use the spring to return to the large waterfall.

Climb the waterfall. Optionally, jump to the first ledge on the right to find a ? Ring Item Box, then return to the waterfall.

Continue climbing the waterfall to the very top. To the right of the top, you will see three rings above the waterfall. Jump through the top of the waterfall where these rings are to get Chao #6.

Jump down to the right. You will encounter a crusher; jump over it quickly when it hits the floor.

Hit the speed booster, which will lead you to an area with a spring to your right and a red badnik to the left. Hit the spring.

You will be drawn into a duct and then propelled onto a wall. Hit the speed booster on the wall. Optionally, to find a Maximum Speed Item Box, push right after the speed booster, land in the area with the item box and a lamprey badnik, then jump left and spin-dash up the right wall to hit the speed booster again.

You will fall through the floor and land at the bottom of a waterfall. Enter the waterfall and go through the gap in the left wall. Optionally, to find a Green Shield, climb to the top of the waterfall, go right to get the shield, then jump right to fall onto a platform that will collapse. At the bottom, avoid the spike trap near the right wall to return to the waterfall.

Continue left until spikes block your path near a hole. Use the bouncing machine in the hole or another method to ascend and move left. Avoid a red badnik and try not to fall, as falling may return you to the beginning of the act.

Enter the cannon, which will launch you upwards. Hit the speed booster to your right.

Grind a rail and then run up a wall. Do not jump left off the wall to avoid being sucked into an unwanted pipe.

Up on the right, ignore signs pointing left. Get the 10 Ring Item Box.

Continue right. A lamprey badnik appears to be guarding Chao #7. Defeat the lamprey to collect the Chao.

For Chao #8, take Shortcut #1. If you skip this shortcut, go left and enter the pipe mentioned earlier, which will eventually lead to the same area.

Use FLIGHT, Tag Action High Jump, or Climbing (though riskier) to fly above where you got Chao #7. Avoid spikes on the left and right walls and go up through the floor.

Hit the spring to your left, which will send you down a steep right slope. Run off the edge to land near a small waterfall and a waterslide.
