The Ascent to Aethelgard — Split Fiction Walkthrough

Level Start: Navigate hazardous corridors and tricky platforming sections. Zoe destroys a panel, revealing cables for Mio to destroy. Zoe then uses her whip to grab and open a door.

First Pit: Mio uses Gravity Shift to walk on the wall, revealing a cable. Zoe swings across the pit using the released cable, requiring a well-timed double jump and boost.

Container Puzzle: Zoe grabs and drags a container for Mio to jump on. They move it to the end of the corridor, where Mio destroys pink cargo netting. Zoe then uses her whip to clear crates in the tunnel. Both characters proceed through the next room, avoiding green sludge and using their abilities (Zoe's Wallrun, Mio's Gravity Shift) to reach the door.

Second Room: Zoe destroys a panel, and Mio destroys revealed cables to open the door.

Gear Room: Mio destroys glass and uses Gravity Shift to reach panels on the far side, opening a cylinder. Zoe uses her whip to grab a container and throw it into the open cylinder, stopping the gears for Mio to cross safely. Mio then uses their whip to open the door to the right.

Ceiling Traverse: Mio uses Gravity Switch to leap to the ceiling, then proceeds through the corridor and destroys glass to the left.

Pit Crossing Puzzle: Mio hits connecting struts below large containers in order, allowing Zoe to cross the pit safely by jumping onto each strut.

Ventilation Shaft: Zoe destroys a vent cover. Both characters enter the vent. Mio uses Gravity Shift to return to the same surface as Zoe.

Node Destruction: Zoe uses her whip on a bar, exposing a Pink node for Mio to destroy. This process needs to be repeated twice (turning the bar left and right) to open the door.

Sky Traffic: Traverse from vehicle to vehicle using jumping, grappling, wall-running, and Gravity Shift.

Pink Node on Truck: Zoe stands on a box while Mio attacks a pink node, sending Zoe to the next truck.

Panel Access: Zoe uses her whip to throw crates at glass covering Gravity Shift panels. Mio uses Gravity Shift to reach the truck once panels are available.

Arm Grapple: Zoe grabs an arm on the truck and drags it back for Mio to attach to. Mio swings to the next truck.

Truck Control: Mio takes control of a truck to allow Zoe to progress. Zoe then jumps to a ladder and moves to the next truck, with Mio ensuring alignment.

Return to Platform: Mio disengages from truck controls and uses a Gravity Switch panel to return to Zoe's platform.

Cylindrical Truck: Both characters progress to a cylindrical truck with a Green hatch. Zoe interacts with it to open.
