The Heart of the Citadel — Split Fiction Walkthrough

The level begins with navigating hazardous corridors and tricky platforming. Zoe destroys a panel cover, revealing cables for Mio to destroy. Zoe then uses her whip to grab and open a door.

Mio uses Gravity Shift to walk on a wall, then destroys a target holding a cable. Zoe swings across a pit using the released cable, requiring a well-timed double jump and boost.

Zoe grabs a container with R2 and drags it back for Mio. Mio jumps onto the container, and Zoe moves it to the end of the corridor. Mio navigates hazards and lasers while the container moves, then destroys pink cargo netting in a tunnel.

Zoe uses her whip to move and destroy crates in the tunnel. Both characters proceed through a room, avoiding green sludge, and use their abilities (Zoe's Wallrun, Mio's Gravity Shift) to reach a door on the far side.

Zoe destroys another panel cover near the door, revealing cables for Mio to destroy, opening the door.

In the next room, Mio destroys glass and uses Gravity Shift to reach panels on the far side, opening a cylinder. Zoe uses her whip to grab a container before it hits gears and throws it into the open cylinder, stopping the gears and allowing Mio to cross safely. Mio then uses her whip to open the door to the right.

Mio uses Gravity Switch to leap to the ceiling of the next room, then proceeds through a corridor and destroys glass to the left at the end, entering the next room.

A puzzle requires Mio to hit connecting struts below large containers in order. Zoe then jumps to these struts to cross a pit. This process is repeated until Zoe has traversed the pit.

Zoe moves to the end of the room and destroys a vent cover. Both characters enter the vent. Mio uses Gravity Shift to return to Zoe's surface.

Zoe uses her whip on a bar at the end of the room, exposing a pink node that Mio destroys. This process needs to be completed twice (turning the bar left and right) to open the door.

The next area involves traversing skies by jumping between vehicles. Both characters use traversal abilities, grappling points, wall running, swinging, and Gravity Shift.

They reach a truck with a pink node on top. Zoe stands on a box, and Mio attacks the node, sending Zoe to the next truck.

Zoe picks up crates and throws them at glass covering Gravity Shift panels. Mio uses Gravity Shift to reach the panels and moves to the front of the truck.

Zoe moves forward on her truck and grabs an arm, dragging it back for Mio to attach to. Mio grapples to the arm and swings to the next truck.

Mio moves to the front of her truck and takes control, moving it to allow Zoe to progress. Zoe jumps to a ladder on the back, climbs, and moves forward to the next truck, with Mio ensuring she is in line.

Mio disengages from truck controls, moves forward to the same truck, and uses a Gravity Switch panel to return to Zoe's platform.

Both characters progress to a cylindrical truck with a green latch, which Zoe interacts with to open.

Both characters use the appearing ramp to enter the truck, avoiding green hazards on the floor by jumping between platforms.
