    Key Alert: Through the second tunnel, you'll find another thief. Chase it the same way as before to get the key.

    Locked Tunnel Thief: Head out of the tunnel and run to Gnasty. Once you reach his platform, the key will lower it for you. Gnasty will start running away. Jump up the steps to the final battle.

    Boss Alert - Gnasty Gnorc: Chase Gnasty as he runs away. Use charge-jumping to keep up. The route has tight bends and edges; stay in the middle if there are edges on both sides, to the side away from the edge if there's only one. Cutting corners does not help.

    First Encounter: Eventually, you'll reach Gnasty on a platform. Circle around him and flame him when he tries to squash you with his sceptre. This will yield a pink gem. He will run off down a second tunnel.

    Collect Gems: Before proceeding, go around the track again to collect all 204 gems.

    Second Tunnel: Go through the tunnel slowly. You'll see platforms coming from the walls above lava. As soon as you land, Gnasty will run off and the platforms will retract. Predict your jumps; jump if the next platform is adjacent, glide if not. Drop during glides and avoid bumping into walls.

    Final Phase: On the last couple of platforms, Gnasty will fire energy balls. Use the circling strategy again to get in a second flame attack.

    Victory: Gnasty falls, dropping the last 100 gems. Spyro will say "You're toast, Gnorc!" and the first ending cutscene will play.

    Progress: You should now have 500/500 gems collected and Level Complete.

Bonus Level: Gnasty's Loot

Requirements: 100% completion (12000 gems, 80 dragons, 12 dragon eggs). This is a bonus level with 2000 gems.

    Free Flight: This level features free flight. Tap X twice to start. You are limited to a certain height, but can raise the barrier by flying to the next piece of land and jumping up steps above an invisible barrier.

    Key Thief: Ahead, jump up the furthest steps to find a Key Thief running around a building. Use charge-jump to catch it and collect 40 gems.

    Collect Gems: From the gems, go diagonally to chests containing 55 gems. Go clockwise around the edge to find pink-topped chests. Fly over the gap to the smallest platform and collect 50 loose gems and more chests.

    Use Key: Use the key you obtained on the door. Inside, collect 50 gems from wooden chests. Jump up the steps to raise the barrier further.
Tips
  • During the Gnasty Gnorc chase, if there's an edge to the left, stay to the right. If there's an edge to the right, stay left. If there are edges on both sides, slow down and stay in the middle.
  • In the second tunnel with retracting platforms, unnecessary glides will slow you down. Drop during glides.
  • Gnasty's Loot has a limited flight height. Raising the barrier is key to accessing all areas.
  • The gems in Gnasty's Loot are entirely gold and pink.
