Part 9

From the platform you glided to, run along the wall to a tunnel. Collect gems inside and exit to a dock.

Talk to the balloonist; he requires 10 dragons freed (7 more) before he will fly you.

Head back through the tunnel and run past the Stone Hill portal.

Find and enter another tunnel, collecting 5 gems inside.

Upon exiting, you will find Tomas, who will explain gliding.

This action frees your 4th dragon for the level, completing the dragon requirement for Artisans Home.

Run down the ramp and chase the Gem Thief Gnorc, hitting it 3 times.

Collect 4 gems around the pillars supporting a high platform.

Go back up the ramp, turn left past Tomas, and follow the path to find three red gems.

Jump down and run towards the tower, entering through an opening at the front.

Walk into the whirlwind inside the tower to be taken to the top.

Collect 3 gems, avoiding the 'Town Square' portal.

Turn right (away from the portal) and glide to a platform with 2 gems.

Glide again to a red chest containing a green gem.

Jump down and re-enter the tower, using the whirlwind again.

Take the other turn and glide to another platform with a red chest containing a green gem.

This should bring your total gems to 100, completing gem collection for Artisans Home.

Exit Artisans Home and enter the 'Stone Hill' portal.

Upon landing in Stone Hill, turn around to find a red gem, a wooden chest with 5 gems, and two chests each containing a green gem.

Turn from there and approach a wall fountain; collect the green gem in the chest beside it.

Follow the wall to encounter a Ram; defeat it (by flame or charge) to receive a purple gem.

Collect 2 red gems to the right of the tunnel behind the Ram.

Go to the hill in the middle and defeat another Ram for 5 gems.

Head to the wall and collect 4 red gems.

Go around the bend to find another Ram; defeat it for a green gem.

Continue alongside the wall, collecting a purple gem from chests.

Enter the leftmost tunnel in this area.

Collect 4 red gems inside the tunnel and enter a circular 'treasure' room.

Go anti-clockwise, collecting 3 loose gems.

Collect 5 more gems from three chests, a red gem near a clump of chests, and find 5 metal chests.

Charge the 5 metal chests to open them, yielding 13 gems.

Collect a clump of 4 red gems.

Gather the remaining 5 gems from 3 wooden chests.

Inside the 'treasure' room, you will find Lindar, who explains that freeing a dragon or stepping on its platform acts as a checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) (a point where the game saves your progress if you lose a life).

Exit the tunnel and go left to the middle tunnel.

Collect 2 red gems just inside the middle tunnel and enter another room.

Defeat a Ram for a purple gem.

Find a life chest in a corner.

Break two wooden chests at the other end of the room for 4 gems.

Go through the back exit of this room (via the middle tunnel) to find Astor near a vortex.

Astor explains that the 'Return Home' vortex returns you to the homeworld.

Collect purple gems from chests on either side of the vortex.

Jump off the edge of this area into the water to find a hidden beach.

In an alcove on this beach, below the 'Return Home' vortex, you will find a golden key. Collect it.
