Complete the A Sign of Hope mission in stalker 2 heart of chornobyl. Decide Kvashka's fate and deactivate the antenna at Noontide Base.
Walkthrough
- 1Head to Prof. Lodochka’s Lab on Wild Island.
- 2When speaking with Prof. Lodochka, ask if he needs help with anything to start the A Sign of Hope mission.
- 3From Lodochka’s Lab, run towards Noontide Base, staying on higher ground where possible.
- 4Follow the wall to find broken stairs leading to a door.
- 5Go through the door and follow the linear path up wooden planks and more stairs.
- 6In the next room, drop down to the pipes, walk left, cross over, and go back outside to the other side of the broken stairs.
- 7Take these stairs up to the roof. You will receive a call from Khors, a Technician, pleading with you not to shoot Kvashka.
- 8Ignore the stairs directly in front of you and head around the back to find a tower you can climb to reach the antenna area.
- 9Make your decision regarding Kvashka: either shoot him from the tower or prepare to jump to the antenna.
- 10Jump from the tower to the highest point of the roof and run to the antenna.
- 11Flip the switch to deactivate the antenna.
- 12Return to Prof. Lodochka at his lab.
- 13If you spared Kvashka, visit Khors afterward to claim your bonus of 2,500 Coupons.
Tips
- To start A Sign of Hope, you need to have progressed through the main story up to meeting Strider for the first time and then speak to Prof. Lodochka.
- If you showed the PDA in the Slag Heap during the Hot on the Trail mission, you can use the Ward Badge to enter Noontide Base easily. Otherwise, you may need to complete the A Heavy Burden side mission.
- When deciding Kvashka's fate, sparing him results in a reward of 2,500 Coupons from Khors later, in addition to the mission reward from Lodochka. Killing Kvashka upsets Khors.
- The antenna is located on the roof of Noontide Base.
- After deactivating the antenna, return to Prof. Lodochka to hand over the Bear Detector.
