Warlock's Debtor Mission Walkthrough

Find Valik Lummox by the Water Tower: Head north out of Zalissya. Your PDA will mark the Water Tower. Just follow the northern path and hang a left at the intersection. Keep an eye out for anomalies on the main path, they can be nasty. It might be worth considering the time of day or weather; a storm can actually help later on, and night might offer some cover, though visibility is key. As you get close to the Water Tower, you'll notice a group of Bandits have already cornered Valik.

Talk to the Bandit Leader or Talk to Valik Lummox: You've got a choice here. You can try to negotiate with the Bandits, or you can go straight to Valik. Honestly, dealing with the Bandits head-on early in the game can be tough, and they won't be too friendly anyway. The better move is to go around to the right side of the building. Valik will talk to you through a window. If you tell him Warlock sent you, he'll hatch a plan with you.

Get Valik’s loot from the Water Tower: Now that you and the Bandit Leader know where the stash is, you need to get it. Head up the Water Tower, but watch out for those Electro Anomalies – use your bolts to trigger them safely from a distance. At the very top, you'll find the main prize: Valik Lummox’s AKM-74S. This assault rifle is a beast early on, especially with its scope. Now comes the big decision: do you use your new vantage point and weapon to take out the Bandits and help Valik, or do you just hand over the gun? I know what I'd do!

Kill the Bandits: If you decided to keep the AKM, now's your chance to use it. Don't get too comfortable though, the Bandits can still shoot you from below, but they won't climb up. Use the scope to pick them off one by one. If you started this mission during a storm, it really helps limit their hiding spots. Once they're all down, climb down and loot everything. You'll find plenty of useful weapons and ammo. Head back to Hamster's shop in Zalissya to sell what you don't need.

Return to Valik: Go back to Valik and talk to him. He'll thank you, and you can make sure he pays Warlock what he owes. You don't need to go back to Warlock to finish this one up.
