How to Beat The Titan

Location: Industrial District, at the heart of the main forge.

The Titan is a colossal automaton, a true test of endurance and environmental awareness. Its sheer size means its attacks have massive reach and impact, and the arena itself presents hazards.

Phase 1: Foundry Overlord

• Attacks:
  • Massive Ground Slams: The Titan slams its huge arms or legs, creating large shockwaves.
  • Wide Sweeping Attacks: Slow but devastating horizontal swings.
  • Summon Foundry Automatons: Summons 1-2 smaller, but still powerful, Foundry Automatons.
• Strategy: Stay close to its legs, as this is often a safer zone from its arm swings. Dodge through its ground slams. When it summons Foundry Automatons, immediately shift focus to them. They are dangerous distractions and can quickly overwhelm you if left unchecked.
• Weakness: Highly vulnerable to Ignition. Use Fire Grenades or Ignition-infused weapons to deal continuous damage, especially to its legs.

Phase 2: Furnace Activated (approx. 60% Health)

• New Attacks:
  • Superheated Zones: Parts of the arena will glow red, dealing continuous Ignition damage if you stand in them.
  • Laser Beam: A powerful, slow-charging laser beam from its head that sweeps across the arena.
  • Enhanced Ground Slams: Ground slams may now leave behind pools of molten metal.
• Strategy: Constantly monitor the arena for superheated zones and molten metal pools; avoid them at all costs. The laser beam has a long wind-up, giving you time to dodge or find cover. Continue to target its legs and exploit its Ignition weakness. This phase requires more patience and environmental awareness.

Phase 3: Enraged Colossus (approx. 30% Health)

• New Attacks:
  • Combined Attacks: The Titan becomes faster and combines its attacks more aggressively.
  • Self-Destruct Sequence: It may initiate a powerful self-destruct sequence, requiring you to deal a large amount of damage quickly or find a designated safe zone (often indicated by a glowing platform).
• Strategy: This is a DPS race. Be aggressive but calculated. Use all remaining Alchemical Capsules, modules, and elemental grenades. If it begins its self-destruct, focus all your damage on its core weak point (often its chest or head) or quickly move to the indicated safe zone to avoid massive damage.

Rewards:

• Anima Essence: ~15,000-20,000.
• Titan's Core: A unique module that often provides a bonus to physical damage or impact.
• Path Unlocked: Access to the Tuileries Palace.
