Anima Essence is your lifeblood in Steelrising, serving as both experience and currency. Optimizing its acquisition and expenditure is crucial for Aegis's growth and survival.

• Farm Strategically: If you're struggling with a boss or area, consider farming Anima Essence from easier, respawning enemies near a Vestal. Repeatedly clearing a small loop of enemies can quickly net you enough essence for a few levels or upgrades.
• Anima Essence Vials: Always carry a few Anima Essence Vials. If you die and can't retrieve your lost essence, using a vial can help you recover some of the loss or give you a boost for a crucial upgrade.
