Guide to Battle 20: Gruborza Plains in Tactics Ogre: Reborn. Learn enemy strategies, optimal party lineup, and how to defeat the boss Ramidos and his summoned Skeletons.
Walkthrough
- 1The regular enemies are level 13, matching your party.
- 2One Witch has 'SlowMove', which can be Persuaded.
- 3The boss, Ramidos (level 15), summons Skeletons after one of your living enemies is killed.
- 4Clerics heal ~50 HP, and Ninjas use Cure+ and retreat when damaged.
- 5Presance's Exorcism spell can harm your Ghost (Presance).
- 6Ramidos has a FireOrb, which she uses if you move before her first turn. To avoid this, have speedy characters use 'Wait' until Ramidos moves.
- 7If Ramidos injures your party, retreat and heal. Using an Orb can make her waste turns recovering.
- 8Sisteena and Canopus using 'Wait' allowed Ramidos to move without using the FireOrb.
- 9Advance your Archer (Sara) to hit the Ninja in the water.
- 10Group the three Ninja together for Byan to hit with magic (~70 HP damage each).
- 11Use Sisteena/Canopus's WindShot.
- 12Once a Ninja is dead, Ramidos summons Skeletons.
- 13If other Ninja are alive, they use Cure+ and retreat, leaving Witches/Clerics vulnerable.
- 14Forcas's Crossbow is effective against spellcasters.
- 15After defeating regular enemies, surround Ramidos. She can still summon undead.
- 16Designate Stat Cards as desired. Finish Ramidos with a character having ~25 EXP to reach level 14.
- 17Presance can get MVP for an instant level-up. If close to level 14, heal Ramidos with him until he reaches level 14, then level 15.
- 18Consider having a second character near level 14 finish the boss to reach level 15.
- 19You will receive the Revivify spell.
Tips
- The Mind Rings on the Clerics offer a +1 INT bonus, but elemental Rings are generally more useful.
- If Presance is close to level 14, you can use him to heal Ramidos to reach level 15.
- Consider having a second character near level 14 finish the boss to gain two level 15 characters.
Buried Treasure:
- One piece of Buried Treasure remains.
- Place a high-LUK character who can walk in water in Team Red to obtain an Orb of your choice.
