Complete walkthrough for Part 20 of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, covering the Treacherous Tower and Ice Ruins, including Gimos, Chasupas, and finding Pieces of Heart.
Walkthrough
- 1From your current location, move east, slaying enemies until you encounter Gimos. Use the Fire Rod to defeat them and reveal a chest containing a Silver Rupee.
- 2Jump off the cliff to the south, merge into the wall, and proceed left. Drop down to find a chest with a Monster Tail.
- 3Return to the high ground and go north up the hill to the Treacherous Tower weather vane. Save your game and enter the tower.
- 4Treacherous Tower: The tower has multiple ranks: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Clearing each level yields Rupees and potential upgrades. Aim to clear the Intermediate rank to obtain [PIECE OF HEART #24].
- 5Ice Ruins: Travel back to Hyrule and fly to the Tower of Hera. Head east over the bridge and enter the cave past the Lynel. Exit the volcano at the lowest point to reach Rosso's Ore Mine. Merge into the wall to reach Lorule.
- 6Use the weather vane immediately and proceed east. At the end of the path, merge into the wall and head south to rescue [MAIAMAI #80].
- 7Head north and enter the cave. Move onto the thin platform and ride it upwards. You will need to merge into walls as you climb.
- 8Once you reach the middle, destroy the Gimos and merge left. Defeat the Big Ice Gimos.
- 9Wait for a platform moving west. Use the Tornado Rod to ascend to the next moving platform and then over to a pillar.
- 10From this pillar, move north using the Tornado Rod to reach the northern exit. Merge through the Fissure to reach [PIECE OF HEART #25] back in Hyrule. Head back into the Ice Ruins.
- 11Move back south from the Fissure, and then from the stationary pillar, head south again.
- 12Time your Tornado Rod usage to reach the moving platform and the southern exit. Merge onto the wall and slide east to a chest containing a Gold Rupee.
- 13Merge again and drop down between the ledges. Break the skull to reveal [MAIAMAI #81].
- 14Head back inside the cave, riding up to the Big Ice Gimos once more.
- 15Continue north, riding the moving platforms. Take a break at the stationary pillar, then move east, dodging spikes and Chasupas.
- 16Exit to the east to return outside. Move west, destroy the Big Ice Gimos with the Fire Rod, and open the chest to claim a Silver Rupee.
- 17Head all the way east to continue.
