Follow our detailed walkthrough for Part 6 of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, guiding you through the Eastern Palace and its challenges.
Walkthrough
- 1From the left side, use abilities wisely as the gauge drains. Return to the Eastern Ruins and climb the steps near the crystals.
- 2Fire an arrow at each crystal to light them up and access the northern section. Drop down to the lower ground on the right and defeat the Armos to claim a Red Rupee.
- 3At the northwest end, find a Chest guarded by Armos and Tektites. Clear these foes to claim a Red Rupee.
- 4Make your way up through the ruins to the Eastern Palace at the northeast, where Osfala awaits. Use the nearby weather vane to save, then head into the Eastern Palace.
- 5Inside the Eastern Palace, note the gap and two paths. Press the switch on the lower right to open the right path and claim 4 Rupees.
- 6Return and shoot the crystal across the gap to lower the bridge. Cross it. In the next area, look left for a crystal. Defeat the Popo and shoot the crystal to open the path on the left from the beginning, leading to a Chest with a Red Rupee.
- 7Return to the middle path and go north. Evade the rolling boulders, noting their pattern: right, left, right, left, then a big one.
- 8Cross the path and enter the next area on the left (not up the stairs yet). Kill the Popos that appear; a Chest will appear on the upper tier, which is currently unreachable. A door opens.
- 9Before moving on, go under the ledge where the chest is to find a switch. Press it to make a Chest appear with a Red Rupee inside. Return and go through the opened door.
- 10Go up the stairs, step on the switch to open the right door, but go through the left door first to find the Compass. Return and go right.
- 11Out here, find rupees between the statues, but avoid touching the northern wall to avoid being pushed off. Go right across the bridge and north between the statues to find the switch that opens the right door.
- 12The right statue is an Armos; defeat it and move to the next room. In this room, shoot the left crystal, then the right one to align the northern ledges. Claim the Chest containing a Small Key.
- 13Get on the platform going up and down. When it goes down, go south to find a hidden room with Fairies.
- 14Return to the previous room and go left to the main area. Use the Small Key on the door to access the second floor (2F).
- 15In this room, step on the switch to activate all 4 Armos. Defeat them by cornering yourself and swinging your sword. A green portal appears, returning you to the dungeon entrance.
- 16From the entrance, go right. In the next room, guard against arrows with your shield.
- 17Go to the northeastern corner to find a Popo. Go up the path to find more, then to the southeastern corner for another. After killing all Popos, a Chest appears containing Monster Guts.
- 18Quickly move or use your shield to block arrows coming from the north. Return to the previous room and go left to see more rolling boulders.
- 19Step on the switch to make stairs appear. Once fully out, run to the top and go right, avoiding the large boulder.
- 20In the next area, step on the switch until the stairs are hidden, then step on the switch underneath the stairs to make a Chest appear with Monster Guts. The switch on the lower left corner opens the door.
- 21In the next room, go up the stairs and kill both Armos. Go up the middle path and shoot the crystal on the left.
- 22Go up the right path and shoot diagonally to hit the left crystal. This causes the platform to move up and down. Catch a ride and shoot the crystal.
Tips
- Abilities consume gauge energy; use them wisely.
- Armos cannot be hit with the Bow or Sword when jumping. Swing relentlessly to keep them grounded or attack from a distance.
- Tektites bounce a lot. A bow shot can keep them at bay, and a few sword swipes will finish them once landed.
- Popos are slow-moving and easy to defeat with sword swipes.
- Use your shield to block incoming arrows.
