Heroes:

1. Aragorn

   Aragorn is a highly capable solo hero with strong abilities. His Elendil Shout can clear crowds, and his Blademaster ability racks up kills. The Army of the Dead is his most useful ability, allowing him to defeat large armies solo by summoning a protective force. A general strategy is to place him on a hotkey and let him engage, checking on him periodically to level him up quickly. Leveling him fast is recommended to unlock all his abilities. With the Anduril Evenstar power, Aragorn becomes incredibly powerful, able to destroy defensive towers in one swing and mumakils in two or three, especially if no fire archers are present. He, Legolas, and Gandalf are likely to be your top vanquished enemies.

2. Gandalf

   Gandalf is the most powerful hero in the game. In the campaign, he is nearly unstoppable when used correctly. The Evenstar power of Gandalf the White grants 100% extra damage and doubles spell recharge rates. His abilities include:

   • Wizard Blast (Level 1): Strikes and knocks back groups of enemies. Useful for clearing areas and can take out entire battalions of orcs.
   • Lightning Sword (Level 2): Creates a chain of lightning over an area, effective against groups of orcs or trolls.
   • Leadership (Level 4): A passive ability that grants surrounding armies bonus damage, armor, and fear immunity.
   • Mount Shadowfax (Level 5): Allows Gandalf to ride Shadowfax, providing advantages and disadvantages of mounted heroes. Useful for covering large areas quickly.
   • Light of Istari (Level 5): A powerful light beam that can defeat most units in one shot, including Nazguls.
   • Word of Power (Level 10): A massive magic blast dealing 500 damage in a large radius, clearing weaker units and leaving stronger ones for you to handle.
