Walkthrough
- 1After infiltrating the Embassy, your new objective is to recover or destroy security intelligence held by Douglas Shetland.
- 2Save your checkpoint. Lambert will provide information via radio, and you can check your OPSAT for details on Shetland.
- 3Head up the ladder to your left, then another ladder to your right. Descend onto the landing and move into the shadows to your left.
- 4Shoot out the lantern or the guard in the window to your right to avoid detection.
- 5Crouch and move around the corner. Before reaching the lighted window, use wall mode (crouched) to slide underneath it.
- 6As you slide right, another guard will be looking out a larger window. Lambert will warn you that Sadono is in the room. Stay in wall mode in the shadows; Sadono will not see you.
- 7Once Sadono leaves, exit wall mode, crouch by the window, and use the 'whistle' button. The guard will investigate.
- 8When the guard's back is turned, move across the lighted area to the far side. Two hostages are in the room but will not alert the guard.
- 9Move down the landing to its end. Move Sam to the edge and select 'Climb Out' to move onto a pipe.
- 10Move Sam up the pipe to grab the ledge and hand-over-hand to the landing outside the opposite window.
- 11Inside the room, a terrorist torturer is interrogating Shetland. Face right, move to the edge, climb onto the pipe, move down to the balcony, and enter the room.
- 12K.O. the terrorist and talk to Shetland. He will give you a data chip. Insert it into your device, and a checkpoint save will become available.
- 13Your new objective is to find CIA agent Ruth Ingrid Karlthson on the Embassy grounds. Her picture and bio are available on your OPSAT.
- 14After saving, Lambert will mention 'Mortified Penguin'.
- 15There are two doors leading out of the room. One leads to the room with the guard and hostages. The other leads to a hallway with a guard whose back is to you. Use the Optic Cable to scout both.
- 16The hallway option is safer. K.O. the guard, lockpick the bathroom door further down, and hide the guard's body inside. Note the Medical Kit on the wall.
- 17Shoot out all lights in the hallway and at the top of the stairs to ensure a dark retreat path if needed.
- 18At the end of the hallway, shoot out the large circular light over the stairway and the lamps in the corners.
- 19Proceed downstairs. A guard patrols at the foot of the stairs. Use the Whistle button to lure him up the stairs, then retreat.
- 20Grab the guard just after he turns to go back down the stairs and pull him back up to a safe location.
Tips
- If Sam stares directly into a bright light source while using night vision, the screen will turn white, and he will only see outlines of objects until his vision clears.
- Medical kits remain on the wall after use, and you can choose to use only a portion of the kit to restore health, saving the rest for later.
