Part 9

Check your OPSAT (Personal Data Assistant) for the code, which is also in your objectives window.

Enter the next door cautiously; you cannot Overclock (OC) it. Save at the checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death).

Shoot the terrorist standing by the motion detector with one headshot (a shot that lands on the enemy's head, usually an instant kill). If you miss, two more terrorists will appear.

Switch off the spotlight.

Collect the two Air Ring Foils from the table.

Use the med kit on the wall if needed.

Proceed through the door slowly and pick up the dead terrorist's data stick.

Overclock (OC) the next door and enter the long stairwell.

Shoot the camera in the stairwell.

Approach the wall mine slowly and disarm it by pressing the 'A' button when the light is green. Pressing 'A' when the light is red will result in death.

Pocket the mine and continue up the stairwell.

Overclock (OC) the door at the top.

Equip Sam's night vision to see the two guards more easily.

Switch back to normal mode, back up, and shoot out the closest lights to darken the stairwell before entering the room.

Wait until the patrolling guard is in the next room to the right, then enter slowly and move to the left of the door, facing the wall. Keep your light meter slid all the way to the left.

When the patrolling guard returns, slowly follow him past the other guard who is using a computer.

While the patrolling guard is out of the room, perform a headshot on the guard at the computer.

When the other guard returns, perform a headshot on him as well.

Use the computer, check the data, and then head into the other room the guard was patrolling.

Enter the access code from the computer into the keypad door and proceed inside.

After a brief cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically), move past the brains on the floor towards the cooler door.

Save at the checkpoint.

Equip Sam's thermal vision.

Observe the terrorist and the turret gun through the door.

Move to the turret gun's control box and select 'Disable IFF' (Identification Friend or Foe) when the interact window appears, then exit. The turret gun will kill the terrorist.

Deactivate the turret gun and move forward.

Check the guard's body and pick up the sticky shocker.

Move forward to the left and approach the big metal door.

Use the Overclock (OC) function to look under the door. Keep thermal vision on.

Lock pick the door and ease through.

If you have sufficient ammo, snipe the two terrorists on the far end of the catwalk. Otherwise, sneak up for close-range shots or attempt a K.O. if you have plenty of health.

After taking out the two guards, move carefully into the next room.

Take the wall mine located halfway down on the right.

Use the switch on the left near the door to switch off the lights.

Take the wall mine and use the med kit on the far wall if needed.

Enter the room to the left and save at the checkpoint.

Climb onto the medicine cabinet and enter the ceiling system.

After a brief cutscene, move down the ceiling area, turn left, and drop down into the vault.

Talk to Francois, who is lying wounded on the floor. Pick up the ammo on the way.

Francois will give you the cell phone and identify 'Mortified Penguin' as Norman Soth.

You are told to extract. As you exit the vault through the roof, you will see terrorists setting an explosion.

Option 1: Leave Francois. This leads to a stern lecture from Lambert.

Equip the SC-20K with smoke grenades.

Within a one-minute time limit, get on the box, jump back into the ventilation shaft, and move carefully to a spot directly over the three terrorists setting the bomb, with the original opening behind you.

Shoot a smoke grenade directly onto the three terrorists.

Immediately move backwards as fast as possible and drop through the opening. The smoke will detonate the bomb in approximately 8 seconds.
