Level 03--Lost Valley

Start the level by taking the path to the left. After jumping across the water a couple of times, you'll arrive at a bridged area. Walk off the ledge to the right, landing on a ledge from which you can hop over and claim the shotgun. The Lethal and Loaded Trophy should appear immediately. Quit and reload your game from one of your Save files.

Take a right at the river and go down the stone steps, killing the two wolves (1 - 2) below on your way down. (Remastered: If you had continued after claiming the shotgun, you would have sacrificed this protected position for defeating the wolves.)

Climb over the rock, touch the ground, then backflip back onto it so that when the wolf (3) that you just triggered comes after you, you can take it out from the safety of your elevated position.

Take a right at the tall rocks, and you will see a short ramp. Sliding down that ramp will trigger three more wolves. You can just ignore this area completely, but if you want the kills, slide down the ramp backwards, walk a step forward, then immediately jump back up to safety and shoot the wolves from above. (4 - 6)

Return to the tall rock cliffs. Climb to the top and claim the large MediPack (1).

Make your way down the rocks, but don't drop to the ground just yet. Touching the ground will trigger two raptors (7 - 8). As you are facing the clearing, go to your far right and turn around. Slide down the ramp, walk forward a step or two, and jump back up. You can now go back to the other side and shoot the raptors at will. If they are uncooperative and won't come near you, you can drop to the ground and backhop, but they are relatively fast so be careful.

Follow the left wall until you see a small waterfall. Run over to the opening of a small cave across the valley just to the left of the other waterfall, triggering the T-Rex (9). When you are safely inside, roll and fire. Avoid the temptation of getting too close to the opening, as the T-Rex CAN get his head partway into the cave and put a major hurt on you. Be patient and you can survive this battle.
