Level 07--Palace Midas

Swim through the gate and pull up on your right.

Proceed through the opening in the center of the wall to the west.

Kill the two gorillas (1, 2) on each side by backhopping as necessary, using your pistols.

Go to the back of the room and cautiously enter the passage to the next room, equipping your shotgun beforehand due to potential enemy congregation.

Enter the next room and kill two more gorillas (3, 4) using Magnums.

Pick up the large Medi-Pack (1) from in front of the door.

Go through the self-opening door and throw the switch to release three more gorillas (5, 6, 7). A Save Crystal is located here.

Return to the gorillas potentially stuck in the corners of the previously warned passage. Stand at the edge of the top step as far right as possible, rotate 45 degrees left, and target them with Magnums.

Go back to the pool and take a left, then look around the corner before turning right to face a crocodile (8). Shoot it while backhopping.

Execute a roll, head south, and enter the garden. Kill the two gorillas (9, 10) on each side, likely with pistols.

Collect the large Medi Pack (2) on the roof ahead.

Locate a well-hidden switch south and west of the garden entrance. Throwing this switch opens the way to a Secret, which will be revisited later.

Exit the garden, go left past the pool, and turn right where you shot the crocodile.

At the east end of the passage, take the lower path to the room at the end. Cautiously proceed left.

In the next-to-last alcove on the right, step on the square next to it to trigger two lions (11, 12). Jump up on the rocks and defeat them safely with Magnums.

In the last alcove on the right, kill the 4 bats (13-16) with pistols and grab a small Medi Pack (3).

Retrace your steps to the narrow alcove at the west end of the room. A gorilla is present but not triggered until you step on the square in front of the alcove. Equip Magnums, jump onto the trigger square, then backflip twice to create distance before engaging the gorilla.
