The Missions: * Team Building (Joint Exercise of Two Platoons): This is your first taste of the DLC. * Two Fronts (Two-Sided Engagement Operation): Things get a bit more complex here. * Brilliant Minds: The final challenge of this DLC. What You Unlock: Once you clear the first two missions, you'll get access to some seriously cool non-canon playable units. These are characters from the original Valkyria Chronicles, and they're a blast to use: * Welkin Gunther: He's in his iconic tank, the Edelweiss. It's a bit different in VC4, only costing 1 CP to deploy and having 450 AP. It scales with your Hafen's upgrades, but can't equip custom parts. After all the tough fighting during Operation Northern Cross, the Federation ambassador to Gallia, Jean Townshend, calls for Squad E to head over there. It's a neat crossover that gives you a chance to play with some fan favorites. How to Get It: * Japan: It was part of the 10th Anniversary Memorial Pack for PS4, and a bonus for the DLC Season Pass on Switch. Heads up, the PS4 Season Pass didn't include it! * Worldwide: It dropped on consoles on December 23rd, 2018, and hit PCs on January 28th, 2019.
