What do I do at the end of the Cave of Thackus? If nothing occurs upon reaching the end, you may have forgotten to retrieve an item from the wizard's body. Return to the body and search it to find the necessary item.

Why can't I find Lezard? You must complete Lezard's Tower in Chapter 4. If you leave the tower, ensure no cutscenes (like recruiting another character) occur. If a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) plays, Lezard will be permanently unavailable, preventing you from meeting him or achieving the A ending.

How do I open the bookcase in Dipan? Go outside the castle into the town. Enter the first building you see and proceed upstairs. Speak with the woman there to unlock the bookcase.

How do I stop my weapons from breaking? Stop using them. Many weapons found in dungeons have a chance to break at the end of each combat round. Only equip these weapons against suitable enemies (e.g., Dragonslayer against Dragon Zombies). Weapon breakage is checked only when control shifts from characters to the enemy. Defeating all enemies in one turn prevents breakage. Wands have a different system; they do not break with normal spellcasting but can break under certain conditions.
