This guide will walk you through the different character types, how their skills work, and how to put together a solid team that can handle anything the Skaven throw at you.

Think of the character types like different roles in a D&D party. Each one has unique abilities that shine in certain situations. You can totally mix and match, but when you're starting out, it's a good idea to focus on one type to really get the hang of it. You'll be earning skill points as you play, which you can spend to unlock and improve abilities. Each skill has two levels: Basic and Ace. Basic is your standard version, while Ace is a souped-up upgrade that costs a bit more.

There are four main skill trees to choose from:

• Mastermind: This is your team's leader. If you like calling the shots, keeping your teammates alive, and generally being the glue that holds everyone together, this is for you. They're great at interacting with others and making sure no one gets left behind.
• Enforcer: Straight up, this is the combat specialist. Enforcers are tough, can take a beating, and are masters of weaponry. If you want to be the one laying down the heavy fire and soaking up damage, this is your path. A good team always needs at least one Enforcer.
• Technician: This character is all about the gadgets and gear. Technicians excel at things like drilling through defenses faster, deploying powerful sentry guns, and using explosives. If you enjoy the technical side of combat and battlefield control, you'll feel right at home here.
• Ghost: The Ghost is your stealth expert. They're perfect for scouting ahead, silently picking locks, and deploying ECM jammers to disrupt the enemy. If you prefer a more subtle approach, disabling threats before they even know you're there, the Ghost is your go-to.

Building a team with a mix of these types is key to success. You'll want someone who can lead and support, someone who can dish out damage, someone who can handle objectives, and someone who can provide utility or stealth.
